Connor, Rob, and I went to a discovery center in town today.  It was pretty fun.  There were trains first thing in the door though so Connor didn't want to explore.  We made him, but it was a fight every time we left one room to go to the other.  Next weekend I want the gator park or maybe some brewery tours!

I have a goal.  It comes from eating BLTs tonight for dinner.  I want within the next 10 years to have a BLT made from lettuce that I have grown, tomatoes that I have grown, and bacon from my own pig.  I would also like to have the bread be bread that I make from my own grains.  Time to start working on this!

I cracked my windshield today...that is all.

This is how I feel about so many people right now!  My week has been interesting and I think I am full up on interesting now.  The base is on curfew this coming weekend.  It is a three day weekend and we have a 10pm curfew.  Awesome!

First time eating crawfish.  Most of my class showed up.  I may have exploded my first one, but I got the hang of it.  You just have to make sure you suck the head correctly. ;)  I also did not realize how bad my tan line was from wearing a uniform all of the time...I think I need to spend more time on the beach!

I want to be able to document new things that I do while in the military.  I figure that this is as good of a way as any to do that.  I have been in for 5 months now and am currently stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS.  I absolutely love it here!  Living landlocked for all of my life has given me a massive appreciation for the beach.  I have also made some good friends here that I will be lucky enough to have around for the next 2.5 years.  That is all for now.  I will start posting pictures soon.
